mistake with xbox live gold

I do never had gold membership, but it has always worked for me & others I know.

are you saying that you have never had Xbox Live Gold on your account?

if that is the case then you were able to play online by mistake. it would seem that whatever the mistake was, it has now been corrected and Xbox Live Gold (or Game Pass Ultimate) is now required for you to play online.

or it could be that you had your Xbox as the Home Xbox for an account that does have Xbox Live Gold and they have set a different Xbox as their Home, which would result in you losing the benefits of Gold.

Uh, you’re right. Sorry, I thought I need Xbox Live Gold, before I am redeeming xbox gift card and buying xbox 360 games. Sorry about that. Just normal membership, not gold. Sorry, my mistake. But thanks for information.

This is just a simple mistake, nothing more, make sure you write down on a calender the date in which your xbox live gold membership will run out. This is not at all a problem on the consoles part. Simply renew your membership to continue.
