Misspelling on gamertag change page

Hello,

You will need to pay for a gamertag change if you wish to change it to something else. Sorry to see that you've misspelled the gamertag but it's not possible to have something come up and then confirmed as something differently. It could only mean that you've
misspelled the gamertag when you first entered it in.

As it says here:

If you made a mistake when you created your gamertag and you want to change it, you’ll have to purchase a new gamertag. All gamertag purchases must be made through the dashboard and costs extra.

Hi their your not the first person to have this problem i have spoken to someone before with the same problem and after talking to a supervisor when you call support and begging them this was a genuine mistake could the please add another letter in the gamertag
they did as a one off so the best thing to do i call support and have a chat with them

Keep in mind, if you choose to contact Support regarding this issue, when you typed in the gamertag, you had to "Confirm" it, meaning, you were confirming everything was correct. So, if there is a mistake, it will be at your expense to fix it, should you
choose to do so. XBox does not change your gamertag for you, for free, if you confirmed the change. And you have to confirm it, for the change to take place.

as Spud man stated: i would also recommend you call xbox support to see if you could get a manager to help you change your gamertag by one character.

First make sure that there is no gamertag currently registered as "Marry me Bacon" because you cant take it also.
