Missing Xbox One Features/Xbox live improvements

These are somethings that I feel are missing, or need improvements and need to be brought to the xbox one in feature updates:

-We need our bio's

-type of gamer( pro,family,etc.)

-voice messaging

-view friends' friends

-fully customize-able dashboard

-stream content from smartphone to the xbox one

-voice commands for xbox live party (ex. say "Xbox go to game chat" or "Xbox mute (player)."

-Battery notification when low on xbox one controller/media remote.

-able to snapshot screen .

-view friends video clips/screenshots through there profile.

-notify when a friend unfollows you or sends you a friend request.

-more gamer pics.

-view our rep details (similar to rep on the xbox 360's) so we can see if our behavior needs to change online.

-customize profile (ex. take off tenure/achievements and just show your account as bare bones as possible.)

For Xbox live I have some ideals that would be great:

-Use Xbox music freely with gold subscription instead of paying an additional fee, I think it brings even more value to gold and a reason to stay gold.

-Watch netflix,hulu,crackle,etc with friends over xbox live (this used to be on the xbox 360's but was removed oddly) it used to be a fun feature I enjoyed with other netflix subscribers, and obviously this feature is to those who are subscribed
to these apps.

-better matchmaking, pair us up with people through our own skill set(can also turn off that feature as well).

PS: Will there be anything innovating coming up for our avatars? The only thing I've have seen them used for were for our gamerpics.

He sounds nice. He's the right person for the job. And since there was a Microsoft CEO change last year he chose him. They created an official feedback site for everything Xbox and acquired Minecraft which lots of peps like. And, they brought back a lot
of missing Xbox Live Features which Xbox 360 has over to Xbox 1. Since then Xbox 1 has seen many improvements compared to what it was like at launch.

 

Well I gave in and bought a Xbox One

The only thing I read was "Xbox"......... so got it day one. I didn't care if it looked like a bulky VHS player or that it was missing several of the enjoyable Xbox features which you currently have on Xbox 360 like voice messaging, I too don't like the
heavy Windows 8 style. I'm sure they'll make improvements too the system down the road. You can use your profile on 360 and 1 with no problems and keep tabs on your friends and Gamerscore and Xbox Live.

 

Not gonna bother nitpicking the whole post, so Ill just choose 2. I can already view friends of friends. You cant? I can already stream content from my phone, why cant you?

 

There is also an indicator for battery life for your controller. When you are at the Home screen, tap the Home button again and it will show you at the bottom right of the screen.

If you mean you want the light to flash than heck no. I hated when my 360 controller did that. An on screen pop-up would be cool though.

Other than that I like your list.

 

Also to add, Xbox Music being included with your Gold subscription is highly, highly unlikely. If it were to happen expect a price hike.

 

I'd be OK if the controller light plused when the battery got down to like 5-10%, but the 360 flashing at 50% drove me nuts.

And having Gold already has a huge appeal just because you gets 2 free games a month and weekly discounts.

 

well for the battery notification I was thinkign maybe a pop-up on the screen or an indicator symbol, and for the price hike well I would say maybe an extra 10$ price increase wouldn't hurt.

 

Thanks for makibg this thread. Be able to change the UI background can be done on windows 8.1 and 360. And voice messaging at least between other xbox 1 consoles which fact use the same audio codec.
