Missing Rewards Credits

I pre-ordered the digital version of Dead Rising 4 in November, but I still have not received rewards credits for the purchase or the bonus rewards credits that were being offered for pre-ordering. When I look back at my purchases for the past year, it seems
like I am missing other rewards credits for purchases as well. I would appreciate it if someone could look into this and review my account to find out exactly how many rewards credits are missing. My VIP rank for this calendar year also should have gone up,
but I have not been receiving credit for some qualified purchases (I think this is tied to my missing rewards credits). My girlfriend is also having the same issue with rewards credits and VIP rank progress (with Dead Rising 4, at least), so I know that I'm
not the only person affected by it. Would she need to create her own post here or would I be able to request assistance on her behalf by providing her gamertag?

As a side note, I would like to state that it seems a little ridiculous that customer service can't handle this issue by phone or chat. It would be nice to be able to contact customer service and have any issues resolved in one attempt.

I am missing a lot of reward credits and I understand a transition is happening currently but I’m missing the, are it’s worrying me.

 

The purchase would have counted towards your Games on Demand punchcard and you would need 2 other eligible purchases in order to complete that offer and receive the credits. There were no offers for preordering just that game digitally. Keep in mind that
preorders do not count towards VIP.

 

The punch card part would make sense and I must have missed that. However, why wouldn't pre-ordering a game and then paying for said game count towards my VIP rank? The game was released early this month. It's still money that I spent on a qualified purchase
(for which I definitely didn't receive any rewards credits).

 

That's just part of the terms of the program. Subsriptions, in-game consumables, and preorders do not count towards VIP. In order to for a game to count, it has to be purchased after release.

 

Thank you for the information. That explains why I haven't been getting rewards credits. That really makes it seem pointless to pre-order anything through Xbox Live, then. Hopefully that will change at some point, because it seems very anti-consumer. I appreciate
you taking the time to explain everything to me.
