Missing Referral Link for Xbox Live Gold

My friend sent me a link to renew my gold on but I haven't received anything in my emails. Contacted Twitter support, also tried to re send the link but it says I have already been referred etc.

Any ideas?

We see a successful referral was sent to your account. Have you checked your junk mail for any messages? You may also want to check and see if your contact preference email on Xbox is the same as the one for your Microsoft Account. You can check your preference
email by clicking your avatar in the top right of this page, and then going to the Xbox Settings link in the drop down menu. Does the email on that list match the one for your Microsoft Account?
