Missing points for in store purchase

I purchased an Xbox One and accessories (games, controllers, etc.) from a brick and mortar Microsoft Store at the mall. They said those points would automatically show up on my account - but 10 days later, they still have not. I cannot get any assistance
on Microsoft Chat. Can anyone please help with this? Thank you very much.

Missing Points for purchase

What offers are you looking for credits from? In order to receive credits, your purchases either have to be eligible for a specific offer on the site at the time, or you need at least 1 star level in order to receive VIP rebates.

Missing Points for purchase

I purchased DLC for Black Ops 2 the other day and did not receive the points for buying on the marketplace. I do not feel that this is fair seeing I signed up for this specifically so I could receive points for purchases. I planned on buying more DLC today
for dragon age and would appreciate if this matter was fixed before hand so I could be assured that I would receive points for this purchase also.

There are currently no offers to receive credits for purchasing hardware. Generally if there is, the purchase has to be made from microsoftstore.com. Retail store purchases are not eligible.

They may have been talking about the Microsoft Rewards program (which is a different program than Xbox Live Rewards), but as Smwutches says, there is currently no Xbox Live Rewards offer for hardware purchases, and we are unable to track purchases made from
physical retail locations.

you only get points for buying stuff if you're a VIP member

Not true. You get credits if you complete offers on the site, regardless of VIP status.

You can earn Xbox Live Rewards Credit in two ways:

1. By finishing the offers located on the MyMissions page at
https://rewards.xbox.com/mymissions/ .

-or-

2. For non-offer purchases, you can earn Credits by earning a one star MyVIP level through purchasing at least $300 USD or regional equivalent of eligible content. After you receive your first star you will begin to earn a percentage of your eligible purchases
back as payback Rewards Credit. Pre-orders, in-game consumables, and subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP.

MyVIP has a recalibration every year. At the end of the year, we place you in your MyVIP rank for the new year based off your eligible spending from the previous year, and set your progress to the default state. This happened in September 2015 and December
2016. Since you are a zero star member, you do not get payback Credits on your purchases. You can check your current MyVIP level/progress at (https://rewards.xbox.com/myrewards/).
