Missing Oblivion Achievement????

Hellooooo,

Has anyone had issues with achievements not registering on xbox live? I'm playing Oblivion at the moment and just obtained the achievement for reaching Apprentice Rank in the Mages guild but the prerequisite achievement still says that its locked on xbox
live. Weirdly though, when I'm in the Oblivion game and I check the achievements through via 360 emulator dashboard..............this is where I'm confused.........I see the following:

1. As the overall view of achievements for Oblivion I have 17 in total. This is the screen that shows all other games too.

2. However, when I select Oblivion to see the individual achievements, it says that I have 18 with the rogue one unlocked as it should be.

3. Furthermore, on Xlive via a web browser, it shows only 17.

Why is my 18th achievement not showing when it was obtained days before the latest ones? Is this a sync issue and will it eventually align up between the 360 emulator and XB1? I'm hunting achievements so this is frustrating. I'm not going to clear my
system cache because then I'll have to re-download and install all of the mods for Fallout 4 and Skyrim!

I found that out last time when my activity feed completely disappeared - and never returned. Support told me to clear the cache / reset and I soon discovered that it deleted all of my installed mods for those 2 games in the process. My activity feed now
populates again but I lost everything and all of the captures also lost their captions - that was a different issue anyway.

Back on track - Would the missing Xlive achievement be a possible sync issue? Thank you, I's be interested to see if anyone else has had this problem.

Will hearthfire have achievements?

I have to admit, I just now seen the video on this and it looks cool. Pretty happy to get this. I think this was all Oblivion was missing for me.

 

You can get married in Skyrim?

Me too! I always felt romance was the only thing missing in Oblivion and now they come out with this for Skyrim! I am SOOO freaking excited! I know it won't disappoint!!!

 

It may be a sync issue, I have fun into this problem before as well and it managed to work itself out after a couple of days. Is the achievement enemy registering on the mobile app?

 

More than likely it is a sync issue. If it is a sync issue, hopefully it'll unlock and display correctly for you soon.

If you have a save file from before you completed reaching the apprentice rank. You may need to run threw that specific mission again though.

It's always a good idea to create backup saves before performing a specific mission.

I'm having the same problem with Batman: AC on Xbox 360. Been trying several things listed all over the net: Something similar happened in December 2014, and things to try was delete and resync you profile (Does not work). Obtain another achievement in the
same game (got 6 more since and nada). Wait 24 hours. (well it's 3 days later now)..

I have 18 of 70 in Batman: Arkham City (Completed the Main storyline chievo's) however there are 7 in the middle that did not Sync correctly. my profile only shows 11 of 70...

According to many this is a sync issue and it needs to be fixed on the Xbox Live side.. Nothing you can do on your side to make them sync, except report it and wait for someone who knows how to fix it to see this post..

[I hope that it works for you with Batman AC because some of those riddler challenge maps are absolutely painful! I got the 100% achievement on that game and some of the catwoman and nightwing maps were a headache. I would hate to think you obtained 3
stars on a hard one but an associated achievement didn't pop. I hope that never happens to you mate]

UPDATE:

Well I managed to speed play the intro and went straight again to the point where the achievement pops by entering the mage's guild and
it worked. Yay!! I actually done this on an old Xbox 360 too.

I think I'll play it safe with 360 games from now on and definitely make the save before an achievement pops as one of the posters mentioned. I am lucky that this was one that could be obtained straight after the initial 20 minutes
of intro gameplay.

For the poster having issues with Batman AC - I hope you don't run into issues when doing the riddler challenge maps because there were some using Catwoman and Nightwing that I will NEVER play again!! They were painful but I needed them for the achievements.

Personally I did not have any problems collecting achievements. I am an achievement hunter too and have had no issues in the past 24 hours. Try to contact xbox support here: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us
