    Missing Gamertag/Account on Xbox One


    Hi all. I just powered up my xbox one this morning to a bunch of prompts requiring account sign-in, region and timezone etc. So i went through the motions and after the dashboard boots up, i find the console still hasn't signed into my account. So i go to
    add the details again at login and then it just returns me to the dashboard after every attempt. I tried logging in on a laptop at xbox.com and i get the same issue. It just drops me back to the login page every time. Weirdly, i can login to that account on
    my old xbox 360 just nowhere else.

    My xbox one is enrolled in the preview program if that makes any difference. Anyone else having this issue or had it in the past?

    Xbox gamertag transfer help

    To be a bit more specific how do i make my current gamertag an xbox live gamertag?

    Note: I have an account on the xbox one but want to carry over my gamertag from the 360 to the one.

    Signed into Xbox One for the first time and my gamertag changed??

    Your gamertag was found violating xbox lives code of conduct therefore it was changed. From reading the gamertag it may be seen as impersonating staff since they have usually Miss, Mister, Misses, (etc) in their gamertag and they are official staff accounts.

    I want to change my main Xbox account's name to this one.

    oh, i must have miss read the info i found, my bad.

    In that case the only option is the one above, change the gamertag to a random one on the silver account, then change the gamertag on the gold account to the one you wanted off the silver account.

    Xbox One games that you got for free from GWG aren't accessible once your Gold subscription is expired. That's least one reason you'd be missing some games. That's fixed by renewing your Gold subscription.

    Otherwise, try giving your console a
    power cycle    . That usually solves most strange problems with the Xbox.

    If that doesn't work, then try to do these steps in this order:

    1. Remove your account from the Xbox.
    2. Perform a power cycle.
    3. Add your account back to the Xbox again.
    also missing games i have bought and my xbox and my gold is current
    plus the games are missing from my ready to install list not my harddrive so i do not thi k it is a storage issue
