missing game disk after xbox one came back from repair due to broken diskdrive

when i shipped my xbox out to be shipped i make the report saying a disk was stuck and mkaing grinding noises and i also gave them a paper with big blue sharpie marker on it saying there is a disk stuck in drive pls return so far no one cna seem to find
my disk or prove i had one even those my drive was broken when i shipped it im sure my disk drive was replaced and they didt see my disk

XBOne Price drop after dismissals of a price drop recently

captain vark0 at least you can play your xbox one i payed £450 for mine and have had to send it back for a repair because the diskdrive is broken but its ok because to make me feel better they are sending me a free copy of killer instinct WTF

 

Faulty kinect and now console in the first 2 weeks of ownership!

The person I spoke to on live chat said that any xbox one sent back broken was automatically replaced with a new one and not repaired. Not sure how true that is though.

Mine is due to be delivered today, so will let you know!

Sorry to say but no one on the forums can help get your disc back,you would need to carry on contacting support via chat or phone

 

ya sooo no one helped me at all the disk was lost or stolen from the repair place and no prove it was stolen from me even tho i gave them a paper telling them it was in there so u cna lock this topic or delete good job xbox escalade support.

 

Do you think its likely that your disk was destroyed? If the grinding sound occurred when it try to read (or spin) your disk than it was probably very damaged. I doubt someone said "FREE GAME SWEET!" and then just kept it.



A grinding noise coming from the disk tray is never good news regarding the disk.
