Missing Game Code

I've just received an Xbox one white edition with sunset overdrive. However the download code for the game was missing. Has anyone else had similar problems? The only download code that was in the box was for 14 days free XBL.

I am a bit dissappointed to say the least.

The box was sealed so im thinking it was never put in at point of manufacture but after contacting Microsoft support I was told it was an issue to be resolved at the store where it was purchased.

Any help here will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Sorry to hear it. Please double check for any other cards with a scratch off area. When you find it scratch the entire area to reveal two codes. One for the full game and one for the DLC. If it is not in the box then return it to the store for an exchange.

I have heard that sometimes the card can slip underneath one of the flaps of the box.

Took the box apart. Still no download code anywhere to be found. Console was sealed when I received it so I don't see how this could be the retailer's fault. Surely this a fault from the distributor?

I would return it to the retailer you got it from and explain its missing the code, or get them to show you another copy and see where the code is

I do remember then when the game originally launched, some new copies of the game were missing the Catwoman DLC code card that should have come with each new cop of the game, it could be you got a version of the GOTY and are just missing this code card

Was the game fully sealed when you bought it?
