    Hi, I’ve just spoken to xbox support and was advised to post my issue. Basically, I purchased 3 months live gold in January that came with 3 months free. The 3 months free was supposed to have been sent to me via xbox messages by 15th March but nothing has
    been received. Support checked my account and said it was valid for the offer but are unsure why I haven’t been sent it. Can you have a look at this for me please. Thanks!

    I too purchased Xbox Live Gold during the promo period. I am being told by Xbox Support that because I did not purchase it through a tile on the Xbox, I am not eligible for the promotion. Even though the link I clicked on to purchase the renewal of my subscription
    was right there in the ad. Now I am being directed here to post my concern. Kind of not cool MS.

    Same issue, same promotion. I wouldn’t mind but I could have just bought 3+3 free from game for the same price!!

    Crazy that tech support can’t sort this and are telling people to post on a public forum when clearly nothing gets done about it on here either!!

    1. Did you purchase 3 Months of Xbox Live Gold via the promotional tile on the Xbox console, or via the page for the promotion at Xbox.com?

    2. The date that you purchased 3 Months of Xbox Live Gold via this promotion (to be eligible, you must have purchased during the promotion window between 1/15/2018 and 1/30/2018).

    Purchased from the promotion at Xbox.com and both Twitter and chat support said I was ineligible because I did not purchase from the tile. I offered my receipt from Microsoft.com to prove eligibility but no one cared to look at it

    1 I spoke to a customer service representative and they confirmed the purchase I have a reference number if you need it and yes I did buy it within the deal time window

    I purchased the offer on 21st January via the promotion page on Xbox.com. Support confirmed to me that I had qualified for this offer and added notes to my account to confirm this.
