  1. missing file worth 76 gigs.

I did not realize it was possible to get *** so hard, I was prompted to download a file worth 76 gigs of space, not showing an emblem for the game, so I downloaded it, and once it got to one hundred, it appeared in my "apps" section in "my games
and apps" but when I selected it to open, it disappeared, I can't find the file anywhere and have nothing on my Xbox that I can find that is so space demanding, I don't even care what it is anymore, I just want to delete the file. I checked all through "my
games and apps" and all through my settings to try to find it, and it's apparently nowhere, but it's still taking the space on my hard-drive. Help would be very appreciated, I'm playing on the Xbox one

    :)

    Fallout 4 save files

I've contacted support and they tried everything to get my save files back. I'm missing about 6 hours worth and they said it might be a syncing problem.

Do you own Quantum Break? It sounds like the additional, optional Episodes pack.

In that case, go to My Games & Apps, highlight Quantum Break and press the Menu buttons (three horizontal lines) and select Manage Game, and you will see the 75.7GB file there - you can press Menu while highlighting it to delete it.

Let us know how you get on.

  5. I don't own quantum break, but that is absolutely what it is. I can't find it though, because I can't manage quantum break in my games and apps, how do I delete it? Any help?

I'm not sure how you even managed to download it, but this is what I feared yesterday, because without the game there's currently no way to see it - the only way to see the content pack is to highlight the game tile, which you won't have if you don't own
    it...

This is an odd quirk in the way hard drive management is handled on the One, which means these suggestions are going to be a little unconventional if you really want to remove it.

    1. Borrow the game disc from a friend, install it and then delete the Episodes and the game together. (I'm aware this isn't a great solution, but it'll work.)

    2. If you *really* need the space back, factory resetting the console would delete all content off the hard drive. You would then need to redownload all your other content and reinstall other disc-based games (game saves would be backed up to the Cloud and
safe), which can be very time-consuming, but at least you would lose the Quantum Break content in the process. (Unless you're using an external drive and that's where the Episodes are installed, in which case a factory reset does not wipe the external hard
drive and so they won't get deleted.)

Sorry there isn't a better solution right now. If it's not critical to delete the Episodes right now, I would suggest leaving them there, as annoying as that might be, though the install-from-disc-and-delete-it-all suggestion would be the better one for
    getting rid of them.

You may also want to head to the Xbox Feedback site, which is read by the actual platform engineering developers, to suggest that they consider adding a better hard drive management tool (I think the suggestion may already exist, in which case you can upvote
    it).

just an idea, if you managed to download the add on, any chance you could be gamesharing?

if so the game could appear in ready to install and you could manage it there, if not no idea how you downloaded it

best thing then to get rid of it would be a factory reset as maxen said

My friend set my Xbox as his home back when I first got it, and he didn't have one yet. Never really ran into any problems with it, so neither of us even realized or remembered until now. But he only rented the game, and not a single other person I know
owns this game. So you're telling me, unless they release a new storage management system for the Xbox one, I'm stuck with this unless I reset my Xbox completely?

im guessing what happened was your friend rented it and since the episodes are addons they downloaded to your xbox when he installed the game since its his home xbox

no idea if microsoft will add a new storage management so you either have to factory reset or you could rent the game so it installs then delete it all manually
