    The game met the requirements, but still haven't seen any mention.

    Q:
    What's the Better Together Update redemption process for disc owners    ?

    A: You’ll need to log into Xbox Live (no need for gold) and insert the disc. You can either wait for the prompt once the game starts or go to the Xbox Store, where you’ll will find the new version of the game. If you’ve either played five hours in the last
    12 months, or have bought DLC at any time, the new game should show up as free to download. If not, you can fulfill either of the conditions above before January 30th 2018 and then come back to the store to download. Please be prepared for a short wait, though
    - as it may take a few days to process all the redemption requests.

    So I'll just have to wait.

    The last time I contacted them which makes 4 now I was told it takes 14 business days to show. I'm up to 17 business days and still nothing. Will be contacting them AGAIN tomorrow after work. This is total BS.

    You don't actually receive a code. Once it's available for you, it will either show as free to download in the store or show up in your ready to install section of your games and apps.

    All I've seen is a trial or the install from disc

    good luck. I even tried to purchase it because I got so frustrated. It still doesn’t work. That’s why they won’t give a redemption code. It won’t work. Fix this Xbox. This sucks

    Today they told me, that the offer for CD version was valid until 20th September 2017

    They lied to you, as it ends on the 31st of this month according to the Better Together Update info Microsoft even put out.
    You are probably right.

    Have you any news about this issue ? I have the same problem and have playing for more than 5 hours.

    I've contacted Xbox 3 times and they keep saying they'll send me a token and I have yet to hear back. I've played well over the 5 hours and also purchased a skin pack and ut still costs $25.99 in the store and is not in my games list. I'm starting to think
    that this so-called "free" update doesn't exist. I can't afford to buy so if I can't get it then I guess I'm stuck with a game that soon won't have any new updates and content.
