Mircrophone for Xbox One

I plan to by Let´s Sing 2016 and need a microphone. Is all USB-microphones compatible with Xbox One? If not how can I find out which is?

Sounds a bit fishy to me. Spend £1 for a spin and get that one pound knocked off the price of what you are buying.

The xbox one has a maximum refund of £10 so you spend £10 to get £10 back so you are not really getting any discount at all.

As long as you have a remote with the 3.5mm headphone jack on the controller then you should be good with any headset that has a 3.5mm jack! Make sure you leave an open USB port on the Xbox and your ready to sing away!

 

I dont have a remote with 3.5mm jack. Why do I have to leave one USB open if I want to use the 3.5mm jack?

Is there any usb-microphone that is compatible with Xbox One?

 

A USB Microphone that is going to be used with the Xbox One will require a USB port for power and then the 3.5mm jack to plug into the remote for actual audio capture.

Now if they make a USB plug and play microphone anyone else can feel free to interject but I personally don't know of any USB only mics for the X1. Sorry I misunderstood your first post.

 

I did'nt know there was microphones that needed two plugs to work (one for power and one for sound).

The microphones I have found is either USB (power and digital sound) or 3.5mm plug (analog sound).

If I understand you correct you don't know of any USB-only microphones for X1. Do you know where I can find information about if there is one? Maybe the ones for Nintendo work or perhaps the ones for playstation?

I suppose the console need drivers for the specific microphone to make it work and I can’t find any information about this at all.
