Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this issue with your Design Lab controller. Generally, when you have issues with a Design Lab controller, I would recommend you attempt to troubleshoot using one of the links from our support article entitled Xbox
Design Lab and Xbox Design Lab controller help.

If you're having difficulty in checking the warranty or the serial number online, then I recommend that you
request a call back or chat with Xbox Support so that they may do so for you. Sadly, we here on the forums lack the necessary tools for directly dealing with any accessory or
warranty issues.

• Log into Support.Xbox.com
  
• Scroll down, Click on Contact Us
  
• Step 2 : Select a Category, then See other options
  
• Step 3 : Select your Issue/Topic – warranty, service & repair
  
  • Select - Show contact options
    
  • Select – Call me back or chat with Xbox Support
    

If you do not see the selection that you wish to use for contact, then switch topics until it becomes available as the selections do change from time to time.

having the same problem and I have tried it with two different controllers and got the same thing, also tried it with 3 different mirco usbs. I was able to update my controller the first day I got the one, but not sure why it is not letting me update it

From the very beginning,

Valid bingos are not scored. In fact, in my case: my bingos are counted in the end of game reward; they are reported in list of all bingos to the left of the screen during a game; but they produce not a "Bingo" happy picture, but a red cross and 10s delay
as if there was no bingos on field. Auto-bingo also does not seem to work (not sure in this point, as soon as I can't say what is normal behavior, but no "Bingo" picture also).

XBox connection is established, Facebook is not used.

I think its a great way to support a game if you like it a lot. But I think there should always be options for those who have paid for the game and can't afford to purchase loot boxes etc. Games that push mirco transactions heavily I try to avoid as it
tends to cheapen the experience to me.
