Miracast on the Xbox One - help!

Help!

I need to use the Miracast feature of the Xbox One with my Surface Pro this afternoon for a meeting, but can't find out how anywhere! Plenty of articles on the internet say this was introduced in April, and even one or two YouTube videos, but none actually
explain how to enable the functionality on the Xbox.

I believe there is an App called Wireless Display, but I've searched high and low on the Xbox, and can't find it. Is this what I need? Where do I download it from?

Xbox One Console , will it have Miracast performance and availability to connect Surface Pro?

Miracast should work on the Surface Pro, after installing Window 8.1. but I have not read anything about Miracast being installed on Xbox One.

Will it be on Xbox One?

Insider Program - Miracast - Can't access Quest "Extend your display"

Hi,

I can't access the Insider quest called "Extend your display", that was created sme time ago to be able to test the Miracast support on Xbox One. This is supposed to give access to an app called "Wireless Display".

At this time the Wireless Display app is still in preview mode and is therefore not yet available to public, but only to selected preview users. It is possible you have seen the app in action in YouTube videos or on the internet, but since the Xbox crew
is still working on it, it hasn't been released so far. I believe it is also not known when it will be released anytime soon.

Yes, unfortunately I've already found it out - as you say, it's still in Beta. Very frustrating, when it was announced so long ago!

The result was a number of burly builders crowding round a Surface screen trying to watch my Sketchup presentation! Not ideal - and would have been so much clearer on a big screen.
