    Minimum internet speed


    Hello all - I'm contemplating taking the plunge & getting an Xbox One as I am very happy with the current price point/bundle. I am a bit of a tighwad in regards to spending so do not have an internet connection. Obviously I know I need one for this. I have
    quite a variety of options available but I am curious if anyone has a general guideline for optimum performance?

    what is the required internet speed for xbox live?

    The minimum internet speed we recommend for a seamless LIVE experience is 3Mbps download speed and 1Mbps upload speed. Minimum internet speed :)

    Recommended Internet Connection in Montreal?

    XB1 REQUIRES a MINIMUM internet speed of 1.5Mb/sec.. just make sure of that....

    I have hooked up a friends xbox one and a ps4 here at my house which I have dsl because the cable company refuses to run lines to the houses here and I can say that the speed i get is far better on ps4 and xbox one. I have a 3mb download. I used both wired
    and wirless connection here to test.

    Recommended speed for Xbox One Console is Minimum 12 MBPS (Keep in mind this is minimum, you may suffer performance issues when playing online or downloading content) and Minimum Upload would be .50 MBPS.

    Hi there serious,

    There is no real "ideal" connection speed, only the minimum. Everybody has a different type of internet speed and some have lag while using the same Internet speed as someone with no lag.
