    Mini-PC for Xbox One streaming to win 10


    Looking at buying a mini-pc with windows 10 to stream from my xbox one. Want to get a low profile pc to put behind my HDTV and connect via HDMI. I see some min requirements of 2GB of ram and 1.5ghz processor but nothing more specific than that. Obviously
    network is important so will optimize that... but can i just get something with an atom processor and be ok? Surprisingly very little on this topic I could find.

    For example I am looking at the following. The compute stick is probably not likely due to performance but you get the idea... :

    Hardly see how this could even work.

    Als the xbox is still the piece of kit doing all the calculations for running the games, the strain is on the xbox cpu and gpu, not the PC side.

    So therefor powerconsumption is really needed on the xbox and couldn't be turned of at all

    I was wondering. I got streaming to work all fine and dandy but my noob question is, can I run streaming while the xb1 is off, once establish the stream? It seems like a waste of electricity to run my pc and xb1 at the same time....

    Cannot stream on Windows 10, but the Xbox is connected!

    How old is the PC. Is it newer with modern PC spices. Or it a old WIN 7 computer that you upgraded to WIN 10. Because if was like a WIN 7 computer before you upgrade to WIN 10. Some of the computer spices might preventing you from streaming.

    I am interested in the answer to this also, I use my Windows Media Center to stream movies to my xbox 360 all the time, and am reticent to upgrade to Win 10 until I can find a way to stream again. If I have Win 10 can I still stream to my 360? At tax time
    I'm planning on getting an xbox one, but I really don't want to lose my streaming ability. Is there a post that explains in detail what to do to send a stream to the xbox from pc, without using WMC? Thank you for your time.

    Like Smwutches has said, this is not a play anywhere title. However there is a process called Game streaming, which lets you play Xbox One games remotely from your Xbox One console on any Windows 10 PC on your home network. So If
    the xbox and pc (win 10 pc that is) are on the same network you can stream the game. It does suffer a bit of latency or delay , but the better the in home network the better the quality.
