Minesweeper won't reinstall

2. It's an Acer **** of restarting the programs would convince them to open. Restarting the computer wouldn't convince them to open. Only uninstalling the programs and then reinstalling them would get them to open properly and work. Until they stopped
again.

The other programs still encounter this issue (Except that Solitaire now tells me that there is a problem and can't open from the start menu. It will, however, start from the XBox console. But I suppose I have to make a separate entry in the Solitaire page
to solve that one.)

However, Minesweeper will no longer reinstall. When I go into the Windows store and attempt to install it does one of two things. Sometimes I get a message after a moment that my internet connection is too slow and there is some kind of error code. This
is silly as I have a good internet connection for anything else. It shouldn't be too slow.

The other thing that happens is that it just begins installing and never finishes. The installation cycle continues, not apparently doing anything at all, until I get tired of it and stop it. Restarting the process produces the same result. I would like
to install it.

And I would also like to not have to periodically uninstall and reinstall the game (and the others as well) in order to play them.

What do I do?

Minesweeper isn't working anymore. how can i delete it? and then reinstall it.

 

Much of what I wrote between 2 and 5 seems to be missing. Short recap: since having to reinstall Windows 8 and the upgrade to 8.1, Minesweeper (and Solitaire, Mahjong, and Taptiles) periodically won't start properly, getting stuck at the circular wait icon
on their start screens. To fix it, I must uninstall and then reinstall. The rest is still there from my original post.

 

First thing I would suggest is fully restarting your computer, then check for and install any available Windows updates.

Can you give the full error message/code (or a screenshot) for us to review?
