Minesweeper won't open

Today, for the first time, when I tried to open Minesweeper I got a message that Minesweeper is not currently available in my account. An error message -- 0x803F8001 -- was included in the message. However, in the store, Minesweeper is listed as "installed".
What gives?

MINESWEEP just plain won't open. 3 days now... worked fine now doesn't. solitaire and majong working like normal. always play daily challenge. didn't do anything different, just won't open anymore. click on icon, starts to load, goes straight back to app
screen.

 

What is error code Ox803F8001

I have the same problem on MS Mahjong, Jigsaw, and Minesweeper: Installed, ready to play, but won't let me open them. All of them worked last week.

I also tried uninstalling and it won't reinstall. The store gives the same error code: 0x803F8001

 

This just started happening 2 days ago. Same thing. Tried to start game got same message and error code but XBox service was running and Windows shows that I "own" it. I uninstalled it because reinstalling games sometimes clears up some issues. But this
time, when I tried to reinstall it, Windows tries and tries but says it is unable to do so at this time and will try again. I've reported it to Windows in their Feedback. Hope it's fixed soon.

We have received reports that this may be resolved now. Are you still experiencing this issue? If so, try uninstalling and reinstalling through the Windows Store to see if that helps resolve the issue. If the issue persists, post back here so we can continue
