Minesweeper stuck in advertisement loop

When I try opening the free version of Minesweeper, an advertisement plays in a loop over and over with no way to advance to the game without downloading or purchasing something.

advertisements wont let game Microsoft games load

I am running windows 8.1 and am trying to play Microsoft Minesweeper but having problems with the advertisements,.. I understand about the advertisements and have no issues viewing them,..,. but problem is they will not fully run or let the games
run, it seems stuck in a loading loop I click on the game ( either expert or the Adventure ) it then goes blank and then flickers white and then black,. shows the rotating loading circle then shows the advertisements final (download) screen ( in
this case "Hidden City" ) , I then click the "close" button in the upper right hand corner , then it just goes back to the Minesweeper game selection page, this also happens with the Microsoft Mahjong game once in a while , however Mahjong finally loads
up after sever times where as Minesweeper is not

 

Twitch Advertisements Stuck In Loop

This has been a re-occuring issue for me even with the Xbox 360, and it has followed me onto the Xbox One.

Whenever I'm watching a stream and the streamer takes a break, they play their advertisements. However, instead of playing the minimum of two advertisements as it is supposed to, it plays several of them and loops them non-stop. Even if the channel
I'm watching is no longer online. The only solution I've found is to back out to the main menu, re-select the channel, and be force-fed the same unwanted garbage.



I'm already aware that in order to view particular streamers without being bombarded with ads, you need to subscribe to their channel. That isn't anything new. But I'm pretty sure that is happening to me
shouldn't be happening.



I've tried re-installing Twitch on my console, changing some account settings, using multiple accounts, even buying a whole new wireless router to support HD streaming for multiple devices and optimize my gaming experience, but regardless of my internet
service or streamer I'm viewing, as soon as the ads play, they will continue on repeat and will probably do so until our sun burns out.



Is there any explanation as to why this is happening, and how it can be fixed?

 

Having same trouble here for almost 2 weeks. It is an ad for Magic Jigsaw Puzzles every time. Doesn't matter if I go into Treasure Hunt or the regular Minesweeper. Same thing happens.

 

Still happening when opening individual daily challenges.

 

We finally got it to stop by clicking download on the ad and then clicking out of the pop-up without downloading. Hope that works for you too.
