    minesweeper, solitaire, and mahjong not running anymore


    Been playing all aspects of all these games for months and now they won't run. (I am on a PC running windows 8.1 with all updates installed as far as I can tell.) I have uninstalled them, cleared the store cache as instructed on the support page and reinstalled
    several times and they still won't run. Sometimes I get the game homepage, but then when I try to run something, it goes away and I just get the green screen which then goes away. What gives?

    I have just downloaded and installed microsoft jigsaw and that works just fine. How long before it stops running?

    Have you installed all the optional updates as well? In most cases, missing an update, even an optional one, is what causes this kind of behavior.

    Same here, also have no problems with Solitaire, Mahjong and Minesweeper.

    Same procedure on my Laptop after installing Win 8.1.

    Much more Apps don't work anymore with Win 8.1 (i.e. Mahjong, Minesweeper, solitaire collection a.s.o.)

    HELP IS STRONGLY NEEDED!

    Same problem here. Only Sudoku. Can still connect for Solitaire, Minesweeper and Mahjong
