Minesweeper not syncing between computers

    I use Minesweeper on two different computers but it is not syncing game status across them.

    Progress not synching between computers

    Did you make sure that you were logged into your account through a stable connection? Progress should only be lost if you were not connected to the internet or not logged into your account.

    I have two computers, both with Windows 8.1 and both have Microsoft Jigsaw installed. On my desktop computer, I was playing Microsoft Jigsaw and then I closed the application. A bit later, I logged into my laptop computer and opened Microsoft Jigsaw and
    completed several puzzles under classic jigsaw. Moving forward to today, I open Microsoft Jigsaw on my desktop computer, and go into the classic jigsaw. None of what I completed on my laptop computer carried over to the desktop. Both computers are using the
    same microsoft account and both are using the same xbox games username. What happened?

    Helen, thanks. It is good to hear from MS that you are aware and looking into the issue. I have the same problem on a recently purchased Lenovo Miix 2 8 running full Windows 8.1. I let the computer sync my app purchases and downloaded my Xbox games, including
    Solitaire, Minesweeper, and Wordament. I get this error on all three.

    Age of Empires: Castle Siege will keep the same save file between Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 (and Windows 10, in time), so it is completely based in the cloud and you will be fine switching phones as long as you use the same Microsoft Account. I believe
    IRB knows this from personal experience of switching phones.

    As for other games, those will totally depend. Games like Microsoft Bingo / Solitaire / Mahjong / Minesweeper all sync your game data to the cloud and it transfers between Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8; Halo: Spartan Assault, for instance, will sync between
    Windows 8, Windows Phone 8, Xbox One and Xbox 360. Other games will all vary.

    My Minesweeper Adventure played fine until I tried it today. When I attempt to open it, it will send me back to the start screen of my computer. All other games on Minesweeper work fine. Hope there is an update with solution soon. Thanks.

    There was a 15-18 month gap between two of the latest versions of Minesweeper, so never say never, but don't hold your breath, either. :)
