    Minesweeper - Missing Mine Counter Problem


    For those of you who are unable to see the counter at the top of the Minesweeper screen, I just discovered if you scroll with your mouse to zoom in, the counter will appear and the instructions will go away. Hope this helps.

    Minesweeper bug - Mine Counts are not accurate

    Have run into a number of occassions when the counters in adventure mode are not correct (See example graphic below):

    You can see that the two yellow circles surround counters that are not accurate given the possible mines near them.

    What happened to the mine counter?

    The old version of Minesweeper showed a counter at the top of the screen so you could see how many unexposed mines were left on the board. If you don't know this, it can be difficult to know where to click to expose a mine. Please Microsoft, put the counter
    back and get rid of the instructions at the top of the screen.

    "Bomb Squad" achievement glitched in Dec 27 new version

    I find the solution myself:

    Because I use Chinese as my phone language, due to a localization problem, there is no theme selection available in Chinese version; however, this achievement requires you to correctly flag 500 mines using modern theme, and garden theme doesn't count! So
    I switched to English, reboot my phone, and played Microsoft Minesweeper using modern theme. In this condition, the counter works correctly and I already unlocked this achievement.

    BTW, would you please still submit the feedback that theme switching is not working if system language is Chinese? This problem persists since the very first day of Microsoft Minesweeper's release on Windows 8 in 2012. Thank you very much!

    they have a good counter measure for the C4 its no longer a problem for tanks but Tank mines still are..

    Stylus on tablet stopped working for mines and flags on last update

    Add one more. My stylus stopped working on the minesweeper game board. Finger taps still work. The stylus works everywhere else. Looking forward to the fix! Miss the stylus in Minesweeper!
