    Minesweeper frequently crashes about a dozen times a week. Attached is the error code I get. As you can see, it occurred 4 times today in a very short period. It happens several of my Surface Pros and has been going on for a little more than year. I started
    after the second 'Creators' updates. Hope you can find this little bug.

    You use some insider version on your system?
    No. The same issue occurred on a brand new Surface Pro as well.

    Same issue for me! Once update from win8 pro to win8.1 pro, minesweeper always crashes on start. Green screen with minesweeper and MS logo, and then back to desktop.

    Unfortunately it is not 😞

    Even if the app is translated in Italian, as show here

    apps.microsoft.com/.../ROW

    it is not searchable in the windows store or by opening the link in the windows store shows nothing.

    as per the crash, it doesn't actually crashes, no error messages are shown, but it simply goes "in the background": while minesweeper is loading, the screen suddenly goes back to the start screen even if the app is still running (by swiping from left it
    brings back the app -minesweeper- but after a few seconds the screen goes back to the start menu). The app never loads 😞

    Could it be because till windows 7 we had a different version of minesweeper in Italy called "prato fiorito" (flower fields)?
