    MineSweeper: Can't Sign-In


    Thanks for checking in, Mister Quimby!

    There are several clear commonalities:

    * We are all using Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Tablets - several people have proven that it is specific to this one machine, having tested other Surface tablets and computers with the same account.

    * These tablets come with Windows 10 preinstalled

    * The login issue happens with all XBox Games excluding Solitare - kudos to ABomb - I think he tested the full spectrum!

    * Speaking for myself, I use a wireless network, but I have two of them - and it happens on both my 802.11AC and 802.11N

    What device is the issue occurring with?

    For me it is a Surface Book (i7)

    ◾What is the OS version of your device?

    Windows 10 Pro version 1511 (OS Build 10586.63)

    ◾Does the issue occur while connected to your wireless network or while it is connected to a cellular network?

    I can repro on wireless network. No cellular.

    Just to be clear things were working fine connecting on 1/5/16 but stopped working at some point (a few days) after that and have not worked since.

    Ive been having the same issue with all of my games and im using a HP Pavilion Notebook 17-g113dx.

    Win 10 home version 1511 (OS Build 10586.36).

    On another note(which what brought me here) im not able to use the support chat cause it wont allow me to type in my first and last name which are required fields naturally along with the email to begin a chat.

    I am having the same issue on my Surface Book.

    Win 10 Pro version 1511 (OS Build 10586.63) on wifi network.

    I can't login to both of my Halo games or Hitman GO

    Same problem here on my Sudoku and Minesweeper. Also a Surface Pro 4 i5 256mb owner. I need to be able to sign in to clear my daily tasks!

    chatting with Xbox and they directed me to Windows 10 team and no one has a solution yet...

    I am having the same issue. I cant run any Microsoft of xbox games on my surface pro 4. I am running windows 10Pro version 1511 (OS Build 10586.63) with all the updates. This problem occurs whether I am connected to the internet via wifi, or wired in via
    the surface pro 4 dock Ethernet port. My programs seem to work on other computers. Please help!

    ◾What is the OS version of your device? Windows 10 Home version 1511, OS Build 10586.63 64-bit

    ◾Does the issue occur while connected to your wireless network or while it is connected to a cellular network? On wireless network.

    Problem exists with Minesweeper, Mahjong, Jigsaw, and Jackpot, but signs in correctly with Solitaire and Bingo.

    We have received reports that this issue has been resolved. When you get a chance, go ahead and power cycle your device and try launching MineSweeper or one of the games that was experiencing the issue. Be sure to let us know the results. Thanks in advance!

    Can't play since Win8.1 update

    Can't sign in to Minesweeper or Mahjong but Minesweeper is letting me do daily challenges but not with my stats. Taptiles won't open. Games wants me to sign in everytime. Store signs me out at random moments and the won't sign back in until reboot. Games
    have been un and re installed many times. Troubleshooters have been run. Twitter sessions have been done but I am left in this state

    Hmm, looks to me the issue with Minesweeper may have been caused by Microsoft forcing me to sign in to an xbox account since updating to 8.1 I never wanted to as we have very limited internet as it is without the extra rubbish. I can not sign out of the
    account and it automatically signs me in each time I open Minesweeper and I don't want that either.
