    minesweeper adventure mode doesn't load anymore


    I have been playing minesweeper in adventure mode on my surface device running win8.1 pro with an i5 processor. Since two days ago, the app doesn't load the adventure mode any longer (exactly since I had to accept some changed microsoft terms of use); whenever
    I try to start it, I end up on the metro screen instead. I can still play daily challenges, though. As there seems to be no way to re-install, what could I try instead?

    Adventure Mode crash bug. Update please?

    Adventure won't load on my new surface pro. Got it two weeks ago, immediately installed 8.1. I have been enjoying minesweeper until adventure mode stopped working yesterday.

    Adventure Mode Windows 8.1

    Since applying Win 8.1 update, I have issues with Minesweeper Adventure mode. As noted in above post, it crashes back to Desktop while loading. The only way I could get Adventure to load was to un- and re-install Minesweeper app. I have done this about 3
    times already.

    No big deal except you LOSE all saved data from previous Minesweeper Adventure game!!! And that stinks when you were on a roll and on your 150+ game..!

    ALSO.... I have had to re-install Solitaire Suite only once since update to 8.1 ... Same issue, crashes back to Desktop while loading.

    minesweeper adventure mode doesn't load anymore

    I am having the same issues and I checked other minesweeper games and its not being affected and only the adventure is affected as far I can tell and when it starts it goes to the loading page and fails and goes to the metro page and I restarted the pc
    and the problems still remains

    my is a HP with a quad core, amd processor and its about like 6 years old and origianly vista and upgraded to w7 to w8 to w8.1

    We are aware of this bug and we are hoping to get a fix out for it this week. minesweeper adventure mode doesn't load anymore :)

    to update and I did in the past made alternate account on my same pc and what is odd im able to get access to the adventure on the alternate account

    I do not know what bug or what ever it is but I did not play it yet but I checked and the game does loads up and I will play a few games of it and check if it anything changes

    update and I was able to play but when I went to my game box or what ever profile page or game box page that shows minesweeper main page loads but now I can not get access to minesweeper adventure which fails to load

    What Happened To Minesweeper Adventure?

    Hi Geri, thank you for your reply. I did try the reset/repair steps you recommended and I did uninstall and reinstall the game with no success. Whenever I try to load the Minesweeper / Adventure game all I get is the white splash screen pictured above with no further action. The other variations of the Minesweeper game all seem to work properly but not the Adventure mode.

    Are you referring to Treasure Hunt (the standalone app) or Adventure Mode (the mode within Microsoft Minesweeper)?
