minecraft

hello, I currently dont have an xbox but created an account for myself so I can play with my friends using my ipad. someone sent me a realm code to play with me, I copied the code but there was no place to write it.

I searched about this, and saw that I had to change my account to an adult but I dont own an xbox, I cant change it from the app or the website. I just wanted to play minecraft with my friends. is there anyway for me to change my privacy settings? I didnt make them like this nor my family
