it says on minecraft.net if i own minecraft xbox one editon i can get the new versoin free but it says buy 20$ please help

I'm pretty sure Minecraft is just Minecraft. One game, Minecraft. There is also Minecraft story mode, that is a very different game, a telltale series.

Is this like Minecraft? I along with a few other adults have spent quite a lot of time building a city etc in Minecraft, but if this is anything like Minecraft then I might give it a shot as I use to love Lego

 

im having the same problem at the minute saying i need to pay just short of 17 pound ive played more then 25 days i really dont know ?

 

im having the exact same issue with my game, ive owned the digital copy of minecraft for over a year now and it says i still have to pay for it

 

you can purchase it and call support to have them refund the purchase. it will allow you to keep the game license and you will get your money back

 

I own the xbox one disc version and expected to see the new version as a $19.99 download. I've heard it might take a while for it to show free but don't know why. For disc owners it also says that we have to play 5 hours or bought dlc. Does anyone know
if that means starting now some timer is counting 5 hours or it knows if you've been playing it forever as we have? Very confusing messaging Microsoft..

Did you get it sorted out yet? I have the same problem. I bought the disc last year in august and for sure played at least 5 hours this year. But the pop up only shows up sometimes for the upgrade and when I click it it is asking for $19.99.

 

I'm having the same problem. Did you get it fixed yet? Any ideas what we should do?
