    Minecraft "You cannot play on Realms because of how your Microsoft account is set up."


    This was a thread that was closed because you said that it was fixed, but I tried all the solutions on the thread, restarting, redownloading, logging out, the whole nine yards and still nothing changed. I was playing the Microsoft version of Minecraft
    on the Xbox (not the xbox 1 edition) and I bought a realm, but after I bought it the game told me I couldn't play on Realms because of how my Microsoft account is set up. It redirected me to another help page that told me I had a child account or my privacy
    settings were too restricted but neither were the case and changes to my privacy settings did nothing. I can play online on any other game, I have xbox live, but nothing will fix this issue.

    I have the same question, but for Minecraft. It states the following: “ You cannot play on realms because of how your Microsoft account is set up. This can be changed in your privacy and online safety settings on aka.ms/accountsettings “

    I’ve “allowed” everything on the page it took me to but it’s still not working.

    Try restarting if that does not work it may be you have a Teen or Child account.

    Reinstalled the game and it fixed the issue.

    Hi garbagesoft,

    The "You cannot play on Realms because of how your microsoft account has set up"

    means that u ran out of "Xbox Live Membership"

    i had that too and was fixed after i bought new member ship.

    and try to contact the xbox live support site to help u out with the account change settings. they helped me too with it and now im in full control over my account.
