minecraft xbox one - village

hello, i have minecraft on xbox one v. 1.12.0 and i found a village but in village is only one villager and i cannot trade with him.. its bug?

Our suggestion here, please visit the Mojang Help Website for further assistance if the above troubleshooting did not help in resolving the in-game issue.

It may come down to letting the developer know about what is occurring within the game.

Try this out and then let us know the results.

doesnt help.. but villager id noe farmer and i can trade with him. Also there is a cat..

Hey bit late but have you checked if the villager has a job most villagers dont have a job and thats why you probably cant trade with him.

If you are in the minecraft beta then that might be the reason why you cant trade

To leave the Minecraft Beta:

On Xbox One or a Windows 10 PC, sign in with the account that registered for the Minecraft Beta and launch the Xbox Insider Hub.
Navigate to Insider content > Minecraft (or Minecraft for Windows 10 on PC)
Select Manage.
Use the radio button to select Unenroll (Leave this preview), then select Done.
Wait an additional 30-60 minutes after unenrollment completes (Pending no longer appears in the Xbox Insider Hub).
Uninstall and reinstall Minecraft.

Hi MadManCrowCZ,

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums.

To figure out if it is indeed a bug, I would suggest troubleshooting the Xbox and the game to narrow down the issue and hopefully resolve the problem. Make sure you save your game before trying any troubleshooting.
Go ahead and do a hard restart and power cycle. Hold down the
power button on the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down and then remove the power cable from the Xbox and the power outlet for about 2-3 minutes. Then re-connect and turn on the Xbox.

If that doesn't help then you will need to try out a soft factory reset.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Select System > Settings > System > Console info.
Select Reset console.

Make sure to select "Keep my games & apps" and have the correct account login information plus your Wi-Fi password ready if you connect wireless because you will need to re-add the account's that were on the Xbox and re-connect to your
network during the reset.

Try that out and let us know if it helps.
