    Minecraft Xbox One Update .????


    ii read the resize your world update was out and on starting Minecraft it did indeed update but I can't find the option for resize my transferred Xbox 360 save that I transferred to the Xbox One version. I saw a video showing it to be in the options menu
    near Reset the Nether but it isn't there on mine . As anyone else tried it and can anyone offer any help. Thanks in advance.

    Minecraft Console versions were essentially the same game but for anyone that owns the Xbox One edition was given a free updated version within the last few months I think. This version I can only describe as the unified version that is cross platform and has a slightly different front end UI that looks more suited to a PC setup, once in the game the experience is the same. I think other consoles will eventually get this free updated version to bring it inline with others and bring the 'better together' cross platform option to all except the PS4 as Sony aren'y getting onboard with it.

    I brought my daughter the Xbox One S console bundle for Xmas which includes Minecraft with some cosmetic packs and Minecraft Story mode Season 1. When I set it up I realised the bundled Minecraft is the new unified version which initially I thought would put my daughter off due to the main menu and new game UI but she got the hang of it quickly and like I said, once in game its essentially the same.

    Minecraft Xbox One Update .????

    First, go into the world you want to resize and just fly/walk around for a couple minutes. The reason for this is because the option won't appear until the world save data has been synced. After that, quit, select world again, select more options, then you
    should see it at the bottom. Selecting overwrite world edges allows the game to attempt to continue world regeneration without having the river border that surrounds the old sized maps. Not selecting that option will give you a nice big square river around
    your first map. Both will require some terraforming though.

    If you are referring to the 'Minecraft Xbox One Edition', the update wasn't for that. It was for 'Minecraft'.

    If this is the old version of Minecraft for Xbox One (Not the new universal version, there is 2 titles of Minecraft on Xbox One) the old version does not have the new title updates. It stopped at content update 44

    Xbox One. The new Minecraft comes packed with newer features and capabilities and is where all future updates and features will appear. The older Minecraft: Xbox One Edition is no longer supported with new features and will not be receiving any updates
    or new DLC in the future, but you can continue to play Minecraft: Xbox One Edition if you wish without updating.

    If you indeed own the digital version, there was
    no cutoff to update to the new version for Minecraft     which should appear in the Updates section of the Ready to Install list if you are connected to Xbox Live. I suggest checking your

    Microsoft Account order history     to confirm the digital purchase of Minecraft Xbox One Edition.

    In this case, either you played the game using the physical disc and never updated to Minecraft, or the game was purchase on a different account which is why it is asking you to buy Minecraft after uninstalling.
