Minecraft XBox One takes 15-20 minutes to load! Please let me play!

Arrgghhh! My games are taking more than 15 minutes to load!!!! Please help!!!!

I've been playing converted game from XBox360 as well as new game. When I try to start up I hit the "Start Game-Join Game" screen and it spins ... forever!!! 15 minutes and longer. This goes for my son as well so it's not just my account. Why must you treat
me this way!!!! I just wanna play the game!!!

I tried deleting and reinstalling Minecraft. The firast game work fine, loads existing game pretty darn fast .. hurrah! I come back after a hard day of work I the real wold, crack a beer, and start the game ... ughhhh! Loading forever! I don't even get to
the game selector page. My son tells me to wait and it'll eventually load ...

Second beer ... 15 minutes later .... no game. Sad-angry-frustrated .... help please!

Games not hung, music is playing and cycling ... spinning blocks chasing tail.

What can I do?

Respawn did an interview with Giant Bomb (has Ryan Davis in it) where they explained the benefits of Azure. The service can dynamically spin up a game server in any Azure data center. Want to play Titanfall in Japan? Logging in and launching a game will
cause the local Azure instance to spin up a Titanfall server. That level of flexibility means lower costs as server hardware does not need to be purchased and maintained for each title.

So it starts off as Xbox One is giving developers the ability to access the Cloud, And in the next breath they are automatically saying that this means every single Xbox One game will have dedicated servers. That is not what the first (Red) quote says. The
first quote says they give them the ability to access the servers, Not that they have to use them.

That is some damn fine detective work HLS. I've been trying to find an original 'source' or 'smoking gun' for this rumour but have failed. But I think you might have found it. The original part is exactly, word for word what every Microsoft representative
has been saying over and over again. The second part is actually conjecture on the part of Wired's journalist... and is most certainly the source of all the erroneous information.

 

I had this happen once. I just went back to the home screen and quit the game, started it back up and tried again..... Took about for tries and it was fine and hasn't done it since.

 

I'm having the same issue. I've tried quitting the game several times, but no luck. The game is unplayable.

 

I fixed this by issuing a hard reset. Hold the power button for about 5 seconds while the xbox is still on. This will turn off the xbox and clear the cache that was messed up. Just turn it back on and it should be good!
