Minecraft Xbox One release date is "really close", says Microsoft

I'm gonna sneak out of work early today so I can get started on my 'Westeros' world - can't wait ; )

There is no official date on the release but list on gameinformer it says
Release Date: Spring 2012

 

So how do you go about transferring your stuff?

Do I need to go to the 360 first?

I'm not really fussed about bringing over my content but rather getting the discounted price as a 360 version owner.

How does that work then please?

 

Since you've played the 360 version, when you go to buy it automatically recognises it and offers the one version for 3.99

Great to get back digging So are you guys starting fresh or carrying worlds over?

I've started fresh for now I may import my world later but have heard it restricts you to the 360 size still so seems a bit pointless to me for now. My 360 world was started very early on so things like jungle and even snow are new to me

 

I've started a new world but have imported my other one I started a few weeks back, haven't

Laced that one yet so be nice to see what they added to it. Also is anyone having trouble finding mines lol been digging but only found tiny ones

The maps are absolutley massive though

 

^^ I'm finding loads of huge caves, but none of them seem to have a lot in them, the only resource that seems plentiful is iron and I'm wasting that on pick's quicker than I can find more!! Found one cave with lava in it and thought I was in luck but there
was nothing around it, not even red stone or lapis..

Oh and somehow I've lost my map but can't build another until I find red stone, not going well lol!!

 

I'm dusting off me pit boots and helmet right now , gonna be diggin me some mahoosive holes later .

 

Had a nose round one of my imported worlds and some stuff doesn't translate correctly... trained animals are lost, double doors get messed up and I found a bunch of stairs were flipped upside down.

A new world is definitely the way to go.

Went Tomb Raiding last night, found both desert and jungle temples... got killed by the traps in one, was a bit more careful on the other.

 

Are jungle temples easy to find, I found desert ones easily lol, going to start my farm tonight and redesign my house as it's a big box at the mo,

Finally found a decent mine last night so had a mooch in that,

 

Anyone else notice a very slight stuttering when panning the camera? game still plays really smooth, just wanted to check its not my aging eyes!

Yes mate, have noticed a little stuttering but at my age, it could be my aging eyes aswell lol

 

Hmmm not impressed, just went on a wander and found a temple and promptly died (like you do) anyway now when I reloaded and tried to play the chunks are not loading in until I'm right on top of them pretty much rendering my world unplayable.

Anyone come across this or heard of a solution?
