Minecraft Xbox One Problems???

We downloaded Minecraft today... our son created a world which worked fine.

He then went to create a new world to make a "hunger games" world... but each time he tried making a new world it crashes. It freezes on the menu , makes a buzzing sound then crashes back to the Xbox home page. He tried again to go back into the world he
created originally.. to no avail, it crashed again.

His brother has tried going on and using the game on his xbox live account.. and the same thing is happening.. crashing and not allowing them to make a world.

Any advice please.. I have four VERY sad boys!!!!

Can anyone please list all the Minecraft games in release by date? We are away to buy a couple for our daughter for Xmas, but confused which ones are new or seasons etc

I'm pretty sure Minecraft is just Minecraft. One game, Minecraft. There is also Minecraft story mode, that is a very different game, a telltale series.

Have you tried doing a hard-reset with your console or deleting and re-installing the game (doing this should not affect your sons' world saves)?

A hard reset is a pretty standard fix for problems like these. Hopefully it works for you.

Hold the power button on the console for around 7 seconds until the power brick light turns orange, a hard reset is basically fully shutting down the console, doing this usually fixes most problems I encounter with my XONE, I hope it fixes this for you.

The only kind of if you can even call it a problem, is auto save keeps on automatically turning on even though I click cancel instead of ok. When I go to save it, it says something like disable auto save. Have had no crashes with the game so far.

So I think this page lays out what you need.

The problem is that you can't transfer a world directly from Xbox 360 Minecraft to the latest Bedrock edition of Minecraft. You need to transfer it through the Minecraft: Xbox One edition first.

Basically you'll go from Minecraft: 360 Edition > Minecraft: Xbox One Edition > Minecraft (bedrock)

Thats the problem.. The new 360 save will not transfer to the xbox one minecraft edition. The xbox one minecraft edition keeps downloading the first save, even though Ive deleted the first one off of the 360 and off of the xbox one edition.

Together with Mojang support I found out the problem why I do not manage to import my saved worlds on my Xbox One X in the online purchased version of Minecraft.

The Minecraft Xbox One version that you can buy online in the Microsoft store is a different version than the Minecraft Xbox One version you buy in the store (DVD). The online version is the so-called Minecraft (bedrock code base on xbox one) version.

To import the saved worlds, you first need to export the worlds on the Xbox 360 Minecraft version, import them into the Minecraft Xbox One Edtion import and then import old worlds into the Minecraft bedrock codebase version. (Minecraft Xbox 360 -> Minecraft
Xbox One Edtion -> Minecraft Xbox bedrock codebase).

You end up with a version that you do not use, but you can then sell it via e-bay to fellow gamers who have the same problem.

So it is possible and fortunately not as Microsoft indicated earlier that the worlds would be lost.

I checked out the minecraft forum, but all discussion there is older and only for the "Xbox One Edition" version of Minecraft, which is effectively discontinued, and doesn't have the multiplayer problem.

My issue is with the "regular" (?) version of Minecraft on Xbox (not the Xbox One Edition) ...btw, whoever came up with these two versions is a moron...

Thanks Shipshinka. That’s the problem. It worked when I used Minecraft and not Minecraft Xbox One Edition. They should really make it clearer. Why are there two versions?
