    Minecraft Xbox one problem


    so I deleted my minecraft world because of a lag glitch that made my main world look like a random new world and I deleted it then realized that I deleted an entire year of work and now I really am trying not to drive up to mojang's office and demand to
    fix this so is there any way at all I can get it back. Once again this was due to a GLITCH THAT THEIR SYSTEM CAUSED. Thanks!

    I'm pretty sure Minecraft is just Minecraft. One game, Minecraft. There is also Minecraft story mode, that is a very different game, a telltale series.

    Transfering Minecraft Xbox 360 to Xbox One X won't work

    Together with Mojang support I found out the problem why I do not manage to import my saved worlds on my Xbox One X in the online purchased version of Minecraft.

    The Minecraft Xbox One version that you can buy online in the Microsoft store is a different version than the Minecraft Xbox One version you buy in the store (DVD). The online version is the so-called Minecraft (bedrock code base on xbox one) version.

    To import the saved worlds, you first need to export the worlds on the Xbox 360 Minecraft version, import them into the Minecraft Xbox One Edtion import and then import old worlds into the Minecraft bedrock codebase version. (Minecraft Xbox 360 -> Minecraft
    Xbox One Edtion -> Minecraft Xbox bedrock codebase).

    You end up with a version that you do not use, but you can then sell it via e-bay to fellow gamers who have the same problem. Minecraft Xbox one problem :)

    So it is possible and fortunately not as Microsoft indicated earlier that the worlds would be lost.

    The problem is that you can't transfer a world directly from Xbox 360 Minecraft to the latest Bedrock edition of Minecraft. You need to transfer it through the Minecraft: Xbox One edition first.

    Basically you'll go from Minecraft: 360 Edition > Minecraft: Xbox One Edition > Minecraft (bedrock)

    Thats the problem.. The new 360 save will not transfer to the xbox one minecraft edition. The xbox one minecraft edition keeps downloading the first save, even though Ive deleted the first one off of the 360 and off of the xbox one edition.

    I checked out the minecraft forum, but all discussion there is older and only for the "Xbox One Edition" version of Minecraft, which is effectively discontinued, and doesn't have the multiplayer problem.

    My issue is with the "regular" (?) version of Minecraft on Xbox (not the Xbox One Edition) ...btw, whoever came up with these two versions is a moron...

    Thanks Shipshinka. That’s the problem. It worked when I used Minecraft and not Minecraft Xbox One Edition. They should really make it clearer. Why are there two versions?
