Minecraft xbox one on disk error getting the aquatic update

Hi, I just bought the minecraft: xbox one edition on disk, and I put it on my xbox one s. It's the first time I play on xbox one, I do not have hours played, but on my xbox 360 and there I played so
many hours. so my problem is that when I install Minecraft with the disk, it asks me for an update of 1.3gb if I remember correctly, then after updating it, I start the game, then I see that it is not the aquatic update (which is already in xbox one) but in
the main menu I get an option that says "download the latest version of minecraft for free" when I spike, send me to the microsoft store, as if to buy minecraft and I see the price, and there is no I can update it to the aquatic version or have that last update
for free. what I do? I repeat, I have the minecraft version on disk, is the first time I play it on xbox one, what can I do?

Minecraft xbox360 edition is suppose to get the aquatic update. Will I still be able to import worlds from the xbox360 edition to the xboxOne edition after xbox360 gets the aquatic update?

 

Unfortunately the option to upgrade for free for the disc version expired a while ago. In order to get the update, you would have to pay for it.

The Xbox One edtion wont be getting the Aquatic update.

Just play the version you have currently for atleast 5 hours, and when or if they do another promotion of the free download you will qualify for it.

But for now it is not possible to get the newer version.

Sorry to hear that you're having this problem trying to update Minecraft. You might need to update your game to newer version of Minecraft released with the Better Together update. Last year, Mojang created a newer version that can only be installed digitally
after buying it. They did offer it for free for a limited time, however it has since past. You can find more information on this update here on the

At this point, I refer to Mojang support and see if there is a means for you to get that new version, or purchase the new Minecraft through the Microsoft Store.
