    Minecraft Xbox One Issue


    Most of the time when I launch Minecraft now, I get to the screen where the Nether is shown and freezes. Then when I close the game and reopen it I get to the same spot and it freezes and gives me the message "Global Resources Reset Resources failed to load
    previously." I have tried restarting my Xbox from the guide button menu, I have tried "hard restarting/power cycling" my Xbox or whatever by holding down the power button, and tried that same thing and unplugging my Xbox for some time additionally. Ive also
    tried uninstalling and installing the game. Im still getting the message frequently if not every time I try to start the game. I didn't have this issue until maybe around July/August, and I just want to enjoy playing one of my favorite games after a long day
    at work.

    Permanent solution please Minecraft/Microsoft community, not a bandaid.

    Hello, Yohaan here a fellow Xbox gamer, to help with your issue today.

    If your on console there are 2 Minecraft versions available. The first being Minecraft for xbox one and the other being Minecraft (Beta). If your problem persists just install Minecraft for xbox one on your console and that should fix your issue.

    Note:You can have both apps installed at the same time.

    Transfering Minecraft save worlds from Xbox 360 to Xbox One Legacy

    Hi there,

    Have you hard reset your Xbox and power cycled it to see if Minecraft on Xbox One received an update as well?

    I noticed this note on the Mojang support page for transferring worlds on Xbox Consoles: "Please note:
    It’s not possible to transfer a world directly from Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition to the new version of Minecraft for Xbox One. To do this, you will need to first transfer the world to Xbox One Edition
    and then to the new version of Minecraft."

    If I'm not mistaken Minecraft Xbox One Edition was upgraded to the new version of Minecraft with the BTU but based on that note you would have to upload the worlds to the Xbox One edition and then to the newest version of Minecraft on Xbox One. I'm not sure
    if this has anything to do with the issue but I figured it was worth noting.

    Local multiplayer Minecraft guests can't interact with world

    I checked out the minecraft forum, but all discussion there is older and only for the "Xbox One Edition" version of Minecraft, which is effectively discontinued, and doesn't have the multiplayer problem.

    My issue is with the "regular" (?) version of Minecraft on Xbox (not the Xbox One Edition) ...btw, whoever came up with these two versions is a moron...

    Are you playing on the same Xbox or on separate Xbox consoles? Are you using the Minecraft Xbox One Edition or Minecraft (Newer version for Xbox One)? Give us more info so we can help you further with your issue.

    Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. Are one of you guys enrolled in the Minecraft Beta? The outdated client issues means that either one of you guys is not fully updated in Minecraft, or one of you are in the Minecraft Beta. To unenroll from the
    beta, you would launch the Xbox insider hub to navigate to Minecraft from there and then select unenroll or "Leave this preview."
