Minecraft Xbox One Help

My minecraft xbox one saved games won't load and the icons have reverted back into the original icon. Is there a way to get them back? Making new worlds seems to work but the old saves still won't load.

Minecraft Xbox One

hi

my son has been playing minecraft, saint row, far cry 4 etc in Xbox 360. is it possible to transfer the games to xbox one? minecraft is an online purchase. rest all the discs we bought from Game.

he doesnt want to upgrade to xbox one but ofcourse we are missing out the new features of xbox one and xbox 360 is getting out dated fast and would value for nothing soon.. ihave few consoles left like that and lying in the garage.. (ps2, xbox, psp etc)..

any advice on transferring the games would be helpful for me to decide on xbox one..

Can anyone please list all the Minecraft games in release by date? We are away to buy a couple for our daughter for Xmas, but confused which ones are new or seasons etc

I'm pretty sure Minecraft is just Minecraft. One game, Minecraft. There is also Minecraft story mode, that is a very different game, a telltale series.

I'm having the same problem. New worlds will load and my uploads from the 360 will load, just the old ones won't load. How can I get it to load?? I tried uninstalling, and unplugging console.

Have you tried a hard reset - holding the power button for about 8 seconds. Have you tried actually deleting the game from storage before downloading it again - don't delete the saves. Have you had a look at all the minecraft downloads on storage - all dlc
- and checked if any are corrupt. Failing that you might want to try and delete your profile and download it again. Can't really get more specific as people never seem to get back and say how they finally solved certain problems. I always though a sticky should
be introduced where people can troubleshoot their problems with a specific game.

tried hard reset and re-installing game and neither worked my saves are all still appearing as the default icon

Update: Previously it wouldn't allow me to copy saves, but removing my account and re-installing it made it so I can now copy the save which fixes it

Firstly, I can confirm that Minecraft for Xbox One is included in Xbox Game Pass. Minecraft is not yet a part of Game Pass for PC.

Although it is still possible to transfer data from Minecraft on Xbox 360 to Minecraft for Xbox One, it is not straight forward. The process requires you to go via Minecraft Xbox One Edition.

From Minecraft.net:

It’s not possible to transfer a world directly from Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition to the new version of Minecraft for Xbox One. To do this, you will need to first transfer the world to Xbox One Edition and then to the new version of Minecraft.

Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition runs specifically on Windows 10. If you would like to play Minecraft on Xbox One, you will want to take a look at Minecraft:
Xbox One Edition. If you would like to install the Windows 10 version of Minecraft on your Windows 10 PC, sign into the account that originally redeemed the code and download through the Windows Store.
