Minecraft: Xbox One Edition October 2019 Update Not Working?

Over the last few days, I've been having issues updating/installing Minecraft. Since the update dropped, I tried to download it, but I was greeted with "Installing... 0.0%," and it's been stuck on that. I tried cancelling and restarting the update; no
luck. Turning off and on the Xbox; no good. Restarting my internet; no dice. I even uninstalled it, thinking that would help, but even that download remains at 0%. To make sure it was only Minecraft giving me troubles, I updated some other games, and all of
the updates went through as usual. It appears the problem lies solely with Minecraft. I Googled to see if anyone else was having issues, but I didn't get the results I was looking for, so I was hoping someone could give me some advise/a solution to my problem,
or perhaps direct me to some proper help. Thanks to anyone who can help in any way!

Update: I contacted someone at Microsoft and they helped fix the issue. For those who have the same problem, I had to unplug my Xbox for 30 seconds, plug it back in, then hold down the EJECT and PAIR buttons and push the Xbox/Power button, then wait until
you hear the startup sound TWICE. After that, you may release, and it will take you to the Troubleshoot menu. Hit "Restart Console" and "Keep My Games and Apps," and set everything up after. Then you should be all set to download it. I'm sure this works with
any downloads giving you troubles, so I figured I'd save you some time and walk you through it here.

That is what we call a soft factory reset. It is the last resort that we recommend to have any issue sorted out. Glad you are able to play Minecraft again.

try to update the game via ethernet cable it worked for me but with other games

Ive re bought the game and it works fine now...

back on 25th October 2019 i bought the £75.99 edition and ive just bought the £60 edition
