    Hey,

    so I remember vaguely that it was possible to transfer the Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition DLC I bought over to the Xbox One Edition.

    I also heard about that that same DLC can also be carried over to the Windows 10 Edition, now I might be wrong about this, but I couldn't find anything online. I even contacted the Xbox Support twice and there was no answer.

    Anyway, I tried it for example with the "Minecraft Natural Texture Pack". I bought this with a 100% certainty, yet in the Windows 10 Version, it still asks me to use coins to buy the texture pack. Is the DLC just not carried over or is there something I
    have to do before the DLC carries over ?

    Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition runs specifically on Windows 10. If you would like to play Minecraft on Xbox One, you will want to take a look at Minecraft:
    Xbox One Edition    . If you would like to install the Windows 10 version of Minecraft on your Windows 10 PC, sign into the account that originally redeemed the code and download through the Windows Store.

    I bought the Windows 10 version of Minecraft by mistake, but the one I wanted was the java edition.

    I saw that anyone who buys minecraft java edition is entitled to minecraft Windows 10. Is the reverse also true? Who buys minecraft windows 10 is entitled to minecraft java edition?

    If so, how do I access the java edition version at no additional cost?

    Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. That is a great question. Minecraft can be played on several different platforms. The Xbox 360, Xbox One, Windows 10 and iOS all support the game. The downloadable content purchased for each platform does
    not transfer to other platforms. Hence, if a texture pack is purchased on the Xbox 360 it will not work on Xbox One or Windows 10. Be sure to keep us updated!

    I own minecraft "windows 10 edition" on xbox one but isn't availabile on windows 10....
    There is no "Windows 10 Edition" on the Xbox One.

    On the Xbox One, there was a "Minecraft Xbox One Edition" but that has been replaced with just "Minecraft".

    As the others already said, "Minecraft" is not a Play Anywhere title, so owning "Minecraft" on the Xbox One, doesn't give you "Minecraft Windows 10 Edition" on the PC.

    However, if you own Minecraft Java Edition on PC, you can log into your Mojang Account on PC, and can get a code for the Windows 10 Version.

    What's on your Xbox would not be the Windows 10 Edition as that only works on PC. Did they give you a code for the Windows 10 edition?

    I haven't heard of any promotions with Xbox giving the Windows 10 Edition for free with purchasing the Xbox One version. There was a free upgrade from Minecraft: Xbox One Edition to the current version which is just Minecraft.
