Minecraft:Xbox one concerns

Well this is not really much of a post, more of a question. Two actually. I heard that the Xbox 360 data could be imported if one wanted to do so for the new minecraft:xbox one edition.I sold my old xbox for an xbox one in early June and the game and the
rest of the data were deleted at the gamestop. So basically I'm still trying to figure out if I can still get my data of my old minecraft on the new minecraft upon release. Next question, I sold my xbox, but I still bought minecraft before... Will I still
get the $5 price? Ok one more question: I actually bought the $20 code at a gamestop then put the code into my xbox. So technically that's buying it right? I need to know before I buy the game so I can know if it will be cheaper and I need to know if my old
amazing builds can be on my new system though I do not have access to the old ones anymore. Thanks and please help!

Minecraft

I'm pretty sure Minecraft is just Minecraft. One game, Minecraft. There is also Minecraft story mode, that is a very different game, a telltale series.

Can anyone please list all the Minecraft games in release by date? We are away to buy a couple for our daughter for Xmas, but confused which ones are new or seasons etc

I doubt you can import your 360 worlds as they have been deleted. I would think that you will get the lower price as you still own minecraft 360. (If you buy another 360 you could download it to the new console by going to your purchase history) It does
not matter how you bought it.

 

As long as you played Minecraft for the 360 online, you'll get the discount.

As for your saves, they're gone. The only way you'd have been to able to get them back, is if you saved them to the Cloud at some point, and it doesn't sound like you did.

 

The tird paragraph here states that yes , you will be able to transfer saved worlds :

^^ He is aware of that, his question was in regards to his saves that he no longer has... will they transfer.

This is not true. You have to have owned Minecraft360 to get the discount. It may sound like I am being pedantic, but hear me out. We bought a digital copy of MC360 for my son. He installed it to his account. The family played the heck out of it.

Now, his account is the only one that can download it with the discount. The problem is that the store will not sell minecraft to a child or teen account. So in order to play, we have to pay full price.

The worst side affect of this is that all of our DLC is also tied to his account. So, it is doubtful that we will have access to any of that as well.

Also, if you have not seen the video, you have to have a 360, and access to your current worlds to transfer them. Transfers must be initiated from the 360 and finalized on the one. Even current cloud saved worlds must be transferred this way. You can only
transfer one at a time. So:

1) Initiate transfer from 360.....

2) wait for upload to finish.......

3) Initiate download on One.....

4) wait for download to finish...

Repeat for each world.
