    Minecraft xbox one; Can't join because we're not friends?!


    I've been trying to join my friends room and everytime I try to join, it will say; You cannot join because you are not friends with host. Now we are both favorites on each other list. Funny thing is he can join my world but I can't join his.

    I'm trying to join my friends game of minecraft on Xbox one but it keeps saying I can't join because I'm not friends with anyone in the game. Even though I am friends with him, we've favourited each other as well. Help

    Xbox one minecraft multiplayer can't join game because not friends.

    Friend can't join game b/c states we are not friends but we play other games together....checked NAT Type all open etc...all correct. Why can't he join? We have exited and restarted etc...multiple times...PLEASE HELP.

    Is it not an open world? Maybe he put on wrong options so when he invites you and you join it doesn't let you. However it may just be a glitch and if it is I can't help you there, maybe play on your worlds until there is another update.

    Actually I forgot to ask, have you ever been able to join his world? because there's a chance that it may be the settings in your account that's not letting you join.

    Not possible to connect Minecraft to a server

    Are you sure your Xbox is online and not in offline mode?

    Also are you trying to join a friends game? Because you can only join games with people who you have added as friends. You can't just search for random worlds. If your looking for random ones you could always just search Google for Xbox one Minecraft servers
    and add people who have their worlds up.

    Hi !

    If you have a Beta version of Minecraft, I think you can only join people with the same beta version. Maybe your others friends can't be joined because they don't participate to the beta program.

    Is your friend trying to use "Minecraft Xbox One Edition" or the version just called "Minecraft" , If your friend trying to use the one called "Minecraft Xbox One Edition" I don't believe this version is able to join your Minecraft world.
