    Minecraft Xbox One Beta will not install... despite me having previously been joined and...


    So, recently my external hard drive corrupted which caused me to lose all of the games I had downloaded to it. The one I had been playing recently was the Minecraft Beta.

    After redownloading Minecraft to my internal hard drive, I no longer am playing the Beta Version despite me still being enrolled and can not access my world I was playing in.

    I have tried: • Installing and uninstalling Minecraft while joined in the beta. Just redownloads vanilla Minecraft. • Leaving the beta, waiting for it to no longer say Pending, and then uninstalling and reinstalling Minecraft, then joining the beta. Still did not download beta version. • Waiting 24 hours after joining in case this was a process that takes time. Beta did not become accessible or offer to download. • I have tried all of the above with power cycles in between as well.

    Please help me solve this issue. I have spent a lot of time on the world and would be gutted to have lost it.

    Is it possible that your friends signed up for the Minecraft Beta in the Insider App?

    If that's the case, your friends either need to leave the Minecraft Beta and play on the "regular" version, or you'll have to install the Xbox Insider App, and join the Minecraft Beta as well.

    I am having same issue, my friend has xbox one 1.16 nether update version and i have the nintendo switch 1.14.3 version and it will not let me into realm. The realm acct/world was created on my friend’s xbox one. Is there any solution to this problem?
    As the others have said previously, your friend on Xbox is in the Minecraft Beta. The only way you would be able to join their realm is if they left the beta and downgraded to the "current" version. Good Luck!

    Unable To Join Friends World On Xbox Because Of An Outdated Client On Minecraft.

    You can either join the Insider Beta as well and get the 1.13 beta, or you can ask your friends to leave the beta, uninstall Minecraft, and re-install the official 1.11.4 version.

    If you wish to join the Beta, you can open the Windows 10 Store, and search for the Xbox Insider App.

    Install the App, and sign in.

    Under Insider Content you should see the Minecraft Beta. There you are able to join.

    What happens if I unenroll the Minecraft Beta Program on Xbox One?

    I also have both versions of Minecraft and got the newest version for free due to having the Minecraft Xbox One Edition.

    If you un-enrol from the beta version you will have to reinstall Minecraft to get the version that isn't part of the beta programme. You won't be charged for the game, the only change will be that you won't be able to go on the worlds that you previously
    created or saved on the beta version since it will have the beta features.

    If you ever decide that you would like to play the beta version again, you can join the beta programme on the Xbox Insiders Hub then reinstall the game again to have the beta version.
