    Minecraft Xbox One Bedrock Edition


    We have recently downloaded the new Bedrock Edition. We cancelled the data sync halfway through because it was taking ages when we were getting our old worlds. It didn't show all our worlds and one world didn't have everything we had built. Now even if
    we copy a world on the old minecraft it doesn't show up when we try to get our old worlds back on the new one. Do we need to uninstall the new one and install it again to try to get our old worlds on? Thanks for any suggestions - we are on limited internet
    access so it'd be good not to have to start again!

    Cloud Saved Games not working on xBox One

    So I think this page lays out what you need.

    The problem is that you can't transfer a world directly from Xbox 360 Minecraft to the latest Bedrock edition of Minecraft. You need to transfer it through the Minecraft: Xbox One edition first.

    Basically you'll go from Minecraft: 360 Edition > Minecraft: Xbox One Edition > Minecraft (bedrock)

    Hi,

    Try this , delete your saves games ( go to app and games / games / highlight minecraft Bedrock , press menu button , delete saves games !!! not the game itself !!! ).

    Launch game and Xbox should sync all infos , if your old world is still not there, you probably deleted it…

    Thanks! We gave it a go but it's still not syncing all the worlds. We'll try uninstalling and starting again Minecraft Xbox One Bedrock Edition :)

    Check the title of the game in your Games and Apps. If it's just Minecraft than it's the bedrock edition. If it's Minecraft Xbox One Edition, it's not.

    There are several different versions of minecraft. Minecraft: Java edition is PC only and can only crossplay with Java players (mac, Lenox, PC) The minecraft that doesnt have a version next to it is the play together version or more commonly called bedrock.
    Bedrock is the version that can be played across mobile, console, and PC. There are also editions that are made specifically for most consoles and even a stand alone mobile version. Examples would be Minecraft: Xbox One Edition, Minecraft: Pocket Edition.
    These do not work with Bedrock which is just called Minecraft. Java is the most updated version of minecraft while bedrock would be right behind that one. The others I'm really not sure how often they update them if at all. Each edition of Minecraft has to
    be purchased separately. I happen to own both Minecraft: Xbox one edition and Minecraft since they released at separate times. I also have Java on my PC. As for your issue they do not have a Bedrock version on the 360.
