    Hi

    I purchased minecraft for my daughter a while ago and I've just purchased the "frozen 2 add on" for her to play with.

    We purchased it with gamepass. It says i "own" it. But now I have no idea where it is stored? How to install it? Or add it to the minecraft game. Its not in my games and apps. Never downloaded in the queue. Its not in the list of minecraft add ons.

    I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me how to add on this Frozen 2 pack.

    I checked before I purchased the add on that it was compatible with my xbox and the minecraft I already had.

    So confused

    Please help

    I couldn't find anything on there regarding the old version of Minecraft. But I dug up a few add-on purchases for Minecraft, one of them was purchased on the 30th October 2017.

    Hi there,

    as far as I know the Xbox 360 version and Xbox One version are considered being different games, so any add-on purchased on the 360 will not be something that is available on the Xbox One, since it's a different game in itself.

    I'm afraid any add-on needs to be purchased again.

    As side note, the 'Minecraft' game is already a newer version compared the Minecraft the Xbox One Edition that was available on release for the Xbox One.

    Sorry to hear that you're unable to launch Minecraft.

    Now you may have purchased the Xbox One edition of the game back in the day, however that new version you were talking about, called the

    Better Together Update    , was only free for a limited time.

    It's not so much as an update as it was a straight up new version of the game and would replace the "Minecraft: Xbox One Edition" with simply "Minecraft".

    That being said, if you missed the promotional offer, you would have to purchase the new version of Minecraft online now.
