Minecraft Xbox Live

So me and my friend are trying to play on a world that I made. Unfortunately, whenever he tries to join me it says “Unable to connect to world”. I was wondering if anybody had a fix for this?

We both have these done:

• We have a stable WiFi connection
• He has joined me before, it hasn’t worked for the past few days
• Multiplayer in the world settings is enabled
• On the xbox live privacy settings, multiplayer is also on there
• I can join his worlds, he can not join mine
• We both play the server “The Hive” very frequently, and there are no issues there
• We both play on our iPads, he has a 1st generation Pro, and I have a 2nd generation Pro
• We both have our apps up to date

Thanks for reading this far, we really have been looking forward to playing because of all the issues that have bene going on recenetly. I’m not exactly sure what an IP Address is, but maybe it has something to do with that? Thanks so much for any help you
