Minecraft xbox game pass download

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. Unfortunately, Minecraft is not available to download using the Xbox Game Pass for PC subscription and is only available to download using the Xbox Game Pass for Console to download on the Xbox One. The version to
play on Windows 10 would be Minecraft for Windows 10 edition. Here is a list of Game Pass games and whether they are for PC, Xbox One, or both: https://www.xbox.com/xbox-game-pass/games

The Xbox (Beta) app recently got updated out of Beta. Try going to the Microsoft Store app to download Minecraft and while you're there, click on the top right icon (the one with the Down Arrow) or the "..." and click on "Downloads and Updates".

Also, the Xbox (Beta) app currently only shows Game Pass games. Minecraft PC unfortunately is not on Game Pass.

Thank you for your post. I understand you are attempting to download Minecraft with Game Pass. Minecraft is only available to Game Pass holders on Xbox One, the Windows 10 version must be purchased to play even if a Game Pass for PC subscription is held.

I have another question, my son told me to buy game pass ultimate, which I have done, but when I go to the Minecraft for Windows ten on the Xbox Console Companion, it only gives me the option to download the trial version. Is Minecraft for PC not a free
download with Game Pass?

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate includes PC Game Pass as well. So you just need to log in on the same account that was used for the subscription. You will be able to download any game that is on the PC Game Pass library (as long as your PC is good enough), which includes Minecraft Bedrock Edition, and Minecraft Java edition.
