Minecraft Xbox 360 "Loading error"

Every time I try to join friends world or make my own a error pops up saying "Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition" has failed to load and cannot continue" Can some one help me i have no clue what is happening BTW i have disk version of Minecraft xbox 360 edition

I have also been getting these error codes after playing the new Minecraft, I wouldn't be surprised if that's our issue.

I have been getting the following error with Minecraft "Minecraft Xbox 360 edition has failed to load and cannot continue". I have reinstalled the latest update and cleared console cache but would like alternative solutions other than getting a new disc.

 

Hello, Just a couple of things for you to try:

• Make sure the game is installed to your hard drive. If you already have it installed. Try deleting that install and re-installing just in case some sort of error occurred.
  
• Take the disc round to a friends to see if everything works fine on their 360, if it does then you know it's your console that's playing up. If it doesn't then you know it's the disc.

Just to advise as well, you will still need the disc in the console whenever you want to play it. The 360 needs it for verification.

 

Umm ok... I have fallowed the steps but when i press "X" on the game while its in the disk tray it only brings the option to "Play Game". I tried it out on other games and it lets me download them. Any Suggestions? or is this just something wrong with the
game?

The reason for that would be that you cannot install to hard drive disc-based Arcade games, such as Minecraft.

For the other issue, are you playing online or offline? Could you try clearing your cache (support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache), then restart the
console and load the disc again?

I am playing online.

I have cleared my cache and about after 15-30 minutes playing the game the prompt comes back up saying the exact same thing "Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition" has failed to load and cannot continue" I am not sure if it is something with my disk. On the disk there
is no noticeable marks other than a light scratch around the perimeter of the disk that came from the disk tray.

 

Hm... would you potentially be able to try the same disc in another console?

I know that can be a pain if you only have one in the household, but it would point to whether it's console or disc causing the issue.

 

Unfortunately i think it is the disk i put in another console and it did not work
