Minecraft worlds not syncing to cloud; can't see the same world on a 2nd xbox one console

I own two xbox one consoles. My two sons and I play Minecraft together (not the Xbox one edition). A few months ago we were having no problems loading a world on one xbox, and then on another day we'd load the same world on the
other xbox. Syncing worked fine. Then one day there was a sync problem that corrupted the world we had been using. Instead of syncing the latest version from the cloud, It loaded up a month-old version of the world that was local to that xbox from the last
time we had started the world on that xbox. The account that created the world can still play that older world, but minecraft crashes if anyone tries to join it.

After unsuccessfully checking with xbox support to see if they could restore an older version of our world from the cloud, we regretfully started over by creating a new world. Ever since that day though our worlds don't seem to be synced to the cloud.
We must always load the world on the xbox where it was created. The other xbox does not see it.

I've seen this behavior when creating worlds on my account as well as with worlds on my younger son's account. The Minecraft license itself was purchased on my older son's account. He typically joins our worlds so I haven't checked to see if worlds he
    creates are still getting synced.

On a possibly related note, on the minecraft main menu, if we ever press Y to change the account, all of Minecraft

seems to restart as if the game crashes. I see the Mojang splash

screen, and after it restarts the desired account is selected. I'm not

certain whether that is the expected behavior or another sign of

something being wrong with Minecraft on my xboxes.

Is anyone else seeing this behavior of worlds not getting synced across multiple xbox one consoles?

    :)

Minecraft world failed to sync data

    Hello Edenquartz,

We thank you for bringing this inquiry to our forums community, and understand that this concerns the cloud saved data for Minecraft not syncing properly.

If you have played the same world that you're trying to access on another console, you could launch Minecraft and the cloud save would overwrite the current save therefore restoring the world.

Unfortunately, if you have not accessed this world on another console, then the world would not be recoverable.

We do advise to review our syncing Xbox One game saves to the cloud error messages support article for
    information on cloud sync errors.

Let us know if this information was helpful, and we wish you the best!

    Minecarft Random World deletion

Are you talking about a Minecraft world? Also, what version [Xbox one(the old one) or bedrock (the latest one with cross platform)]?. Usually if you're connected to Xbox live, all worlds sync up to the cloud, if you're playing on Minecraft Bedrock edition,
when you click play, there should be an option at the bottom to sync old worlds.

How can I verify that Xbox One Minecraft saves are backed up?

If you want to verify that your daughter's Xbox One Minecraft saves are being backed up to the cloud, you can follow these steps:

Make sure that your Xbox One is connected to the internet and that your daughter's account is signed in.

Start Minecraft and load up one of her saved worlds.

Press the Xbox button on your controller to bring up the Guide menu.

Navigate to the Settings gear icon, and then to the System tab.

Choose the Storage option and then select the saved world you want to check.

If the saved world has been backed up to the cloud, you should see a "Synced" status message. If it has not been synced, you should see a message that says "Not synced" or "Sync pending."

If you see a "Sync pending" message, wait for a few minutes and then check again. The sync process may take some time depending on the size of the saved world.

If you have an Xbox Live/Gold/Game Pass subscription, your daughter's Minecraft saves will be automatically backed up to the cloud. However, even without a subscription, your saves should still be backed up to the cloud. Microsoft provides some limited cloud storage for game saves for all Xbox One users, even those without a subscription.

    I hope this helps!

How do i enter my "Cloud account"

In order to hinder or prevent savegame hacking, you can't access your savegame cloud storage directly.

It's a completely separate cloud storage and has nothing to do with your OneDrive.

Therefore you can't download your worlds, but if you go to a different console and sign in with your Microsoft Account there, and start Minecraft, your world will be synced from the cloud and you can continue playing in your existing world.

You can't however transfer it to the PC or other Minecraft editions manually. You can however migrate your world to a (paid) realm server, and then use that realm on different devices that support realms.

Minecraft world corrupted/deleted looking to recover world

    Try the following:

Find the Minecraft tile in "My Games and Apps" and press the Menu button (the three lines button to the right of the Xbox button). Choose to manage the game.

Delete the LOCAL savegame only from the console.

Then try to launch Minecraft. Let the console sync your savegame from the cloud.

However, if that sync fails, then I'm afraid your world is really lost and can't be recovered.

To prevent something like that from happening again, please back up your world regularly with these instructions: https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/articles/360034754912-Backing-up-Minecraft-worlds-
